Unique Aspect
The delicious decadence and complexities of Millionaire come from the eclectic array of high-quality ingredients that we put into this beer. Starting with its Munich malt base, we use solely speciality malts to deliver a satisfying big body that brings a huge mouth-feel to its relatively low ABV. We then bring in Valrhona Cocao nibs that are used by chocolatiers and pastry chefs around the world. For the finish is a flurry of Cornish sea salt that brings a lingering savoury balance.
The idea for this beer sparked when our co-founders sat down for coffee in Edinburgh on a cold January afternoon. Along with a black coffee, Andrew ordered a slice of Millionaire’s Shortbread. The combination of salted caramel, dark chocolate, biscuit base and the bitter coffee were intensely satisfying. So he and Brett set about de-constructing the favours to rebuild them into a beer.

Food Pairings
Sweet beers pair great with red meats, roasted anything and nearly all desserts. The chocolate notes in the beer will compliment many sweet treats, or it can provide a striking contrast to tarter fruit desserts.
For a beautiful sweet and savoury pairing, leave your bottle of port on the top shelf and reach for a Millionaire instead, it simply loves a pairing with any veiny blue cheese, especially Stilton!
