Unique Aspect
Zobo was fermented with a newly discovered yeast that not only creates alcohol and CO2 like our other yeasts but also creates a tart acidity! The yeast was discovered in Philadelphia and is known as Philly Sour. It makes the beer both crisp and refreshing, with a clean finish.
This yeast is an exciting development for making sour beers, that will hopefully bring an end to the dreaded kettle sours.
Food Pairings
Enjoy Zobo with spicy light bites or white fish dishes. Try it with fruity fish curries, where it will match the
flavours brilliantly. Or serve a glass of Zobo with some fried bitesize fish (cod, monkfish) chunks in a spiced panko
breadcrumb coating.
