Goatober at Wild Beer

We will be celebrating Goatober with an event at our Wapping Wharf bar, one at The Pilcrow in Manchester and one very special event at our brewery at the beginning of November...

At Wild Beer, we will be hosting 3 events to celebrate Goatober, a month long celebration of sustainability and goat meat.  

The first, month long event, will be held at our bar at Wapping Wharf in Bristol. On the evening of October 10th we will be holding our Goatober showcase evening, featuring an exclusive goat menu with accompanying beer pairings. We’ll also be joined by the man behind the Goatober, James Whetlor, as well as the team from Wild Beer Co. to talk you through their beer and goat favourites. As well as the main event, throughout Goatober, chef Matt Williamson will be curating several rotating goat dishes to be served on the menu in October which will be paired with one of our beers.

On October 24th from 5pm, we will also be hosting a 'Taste of Wild Beer' tap takeover and Goatober event with our friends at The Pilcrow in Manchester. We will be showcasing some of our rare and new beers as well as some Wild Beer classics at one of our favourite pubs in Manchester. We’ll be joined by Manchester’s original Kenyan inspired Grill house street food stall, Nyama Choma. The team at Nyama Choma hopes to bring a slice of the savannah to the streets and urban sprawl of Manchester and beyond. They’ll be serving up some bespoke Goat dishes as well as a veggie option, we’ll be pairing each dish with one of our Wild beer line up!

Our third and final event, and the Goatober finale closing dinner, will be an intimate supper with a small number of guests for an incredible evening of food and flavour. For the second event in our barrel store this year, we have enlisted the help of chef Matt Williamson to curate a 3 course menu as well as canapes, each dish is individually created and chosen to incorporate and pair beautifully with one of our beers. The candlelit dinner will be hosted by James Whetlor, founder of Goatober and Andrew Cooper, the co founder of Wild Beer Co, who will guide you through the exclusive food and drink menu.

October 10th: Wild Beer at Wapping Wharf

October 24th: Wild Beer TTO at Pilcrow

November 2nd: Wild Beer finale in the barrel store
