What got you into the brewing industry?
Fermentation. It was the only bit of science in my degree that really captured my imagination. I went on to study brewing full time and never looked back - it's pure magic.
Do you have previous experience in other breweries/similar companies?
I've been a brewer for 4 or 5 years (I've lost count!). I've travelled about a bit and brewed everything from Carling in Burton on Trent to my own recipe beer in the Channel Islands.
What's something you'd like to do at Wild Beer that we have yet to do?
I would love to brew an internal collaboration - a beer made from concept to finish by all the lovely ladies called Jane who work at Wild. There are quite a few of us now...
Got any hobbies?
I love food - I grow fruit and veggies in my garden and I like to cook, ferment or preserve them. I also enjoy hanging out with my cats and watching stand up comedy on Netflix.
Any funny (work appropriate) brewery/beer stories? ;)
Would you rather fight a hundred duck sized horses or one horse sized duck?
Oh gosh neither! I'm bad at confrontation - I once had a stare-off with a swan that ended with me running away... it still haunts me.
Favourite holiday destination?
A cabin in the woods - could be anywhere as long as it's quiet, a little bit spooky and completely surrounded by nature.
One food you can't live without?
Cheese. It's hands down the greatest food-stuff known to man.

Favourite childhood TV show?
Come Outside - Auntie Mabel and her dog Pippin go on fun (and educational!) adventures in a bad-ass polka dot plane. I quite fancy that life for myself.
Best place to go for a drink?
Our kitchen at Wild Beer HQ - you're almost guaranteed something a bit bonkers (beer or otherwise...)
