INTRODUCING OUR 'WILDLING' TEAM...
We’re going to be chatting to our lovely staff about why they got involved with Wild Beer, the beers the love and just a bit about them - keep an eye out on our social media and website stories to find out more...
Our staff are paramount and we think it’s about time you got to know us and put a face to our beers. Our team work tirelessly to produce, blend, create, plan, sell, market, troubleshoot and attend events and we want to give them the love they deserve!

Alex Saramaskos - Cellar
Alex has a host of knowledge & experience and knows A LOT about yeast!
Favourite Wild Beer?
Beyond Modus V, because I’m a big fan of Islay whiskies and the fact that these notes are so well combined in the final blend. It amazes me every time.
Favourite ‘not Wild Beer’?
Anything and everything from Cascade.
What got you into the brewing industry?
It was love at first sight back when I was studying winemaking in Greece, and the love keeps growing as the years go by.
Do you have previous experience in other breweries/similar companies?
I started in a microbrewery in Greece and after that I travelled a bit in the UK, from the Scottish Highlands all the way down to Somerset.
What’s something you’d like to do at Wild Beer that we have yet to do?
A series of coolship brews where each one will utilise and showcase a selection of herbs and fruits from the Greek countryside. Beers that will travel you with just a few sips.
Got any hobbies?
Travelling, cooking and bar-spotting.
Any funny (work appropriate) brewery/beer stories?
They are all R-rated…
Would you rather fight a hundred duck sized horses or one horse sized duck?
One horse sized duck for sure. And when I’m done with it, I’ll cook it and we can have a massive feast at the brewery!
Favourite holiday destination?
Anywhere relaxing, with good food, alcohol and interesting company.
One food you can’t live without?
You are funny sometimes…
Favourite Netflix series?
Rick and Morty.
Favourite childhood TV show?
Best place to go for a drink?
The Quaich Bar in Craigellachie. The largest selection of single-malt whiskies you can find and the best atmosphere to enjoy them. Dress appropriately!
